The Values Filter

We created The Values Filter based on the philosophy that goals and objectives are guaranteed to change during our lifetimes. But a person's fundamental value system rarely changes.

Our process assists families in articulating their core value system. This becomes a filter through which we view all recommendations. Unlike traditional planning, The Values Filter is timeless and universal. It becomes a sounding board against which all future challenges and opportunities can be assessed.

When a client asks us whether they should buy a house in Hawaii, an income property in Colorado or invest in a business with their son, we peer through their Values Filter and answer the question. When another client calls with the same question, we peer through a different filter - theirs - and answer the question again, often differently.

When you approach every wealth related decision from the foundation of your most important values, there is little risk in moving from point A to point B.
